Mobile Video Studio
The Datavideo HS-2000 is a full HD hand carry mobile studio that simplifies the workflow of any HD production venue using up to 5 inputs by combining 1 or 2 DVI output computer sources and 3 or 4 HD-SDI sources.
The HS-2000 includes the SE-2000, a five channel 10-bit 1080i or 720p HD-SDI, HDComponent and DVI-D video & audio switcher, with advanced features such as a rugged 17-inch LED monitor displaying a multi view image including each source, picture-inpicture preview, preview and program. It also includes 14 pre-stored logos, digital clock display, five operator set up memories, title overlay and DVI-D input ideal for use with presentation software. The built in audio mixer with XLR connectors allow up to four channels of microphone or line level audio inputs; or you can use an external audio mixer. HS-2000 also includes a wired intercom with five belt packs, headsets and tally lights.

The Datavideo HS-2000 is a compact and light weight, broadcast quality HD-SDI mobile video studio, designed around the Datavideo SE-2000 five channel 10-bit HD switcher.
Switcher/Mixer
The HS-2000 is a five channel 10-bit 1080i or 720p HD-SDI, HD-Component and DVI-D video & audio switcher, providing a choice of input configurations of either 4 x HD-SDI & 1 x DVI-D or 3 x HD-SDI & 2 x DVI-D. Outputs include 2 x HD-SDI and HD Component. Thanks to a built in frame synchronizer and TBC for each channel, none of the external video sources needs external genlock for glitch & flicker free switching between all five inputs. The integrated audio mixer with, balanced XLR connectors, allows up to four channels microphone or line level audio inputs.
Monitor
The HS-2000 has an integrated 17-inch multi image LED display, which provides a complete overview of all 5 input channels, as well as Preview (Next Source) and Program (Live). The screen also features tally information, where Program is highlighted in red, and Next Source marked in yellow. In addition to the built in multi-view display, the HS-2000 also provides connections for an external multi display monitor via HDMI.
Talkback & Tally Indicator
In any production, good communication between the director, cameraman, lighting, sound mixing etc. is essential to produce a polished end result. The integrated five channels intercom system provides talkback for up to five users, via included five belt packs, each complete with bag, microphone headset, on camera dual colour tally indicator and 20 meter cable. The dual colour tally indication box as two functions, provide the camera man with valuable information on been Live or selected as Next Source, while at the same time also provide dual colour tally indication to assist the person (the talent) in front of the camera (what camera to look at for Live and where to look Next). The director can select to talk to an individual channel or to all channels simultaneously. High signal to ratio (good quality with very little noise) and full duplex design makes the communication crisp and clear.
Keying & Titling
HS-2000 also features a built in Lumakey keyer for text insertion via traditional presentation software or dedicated title software. Other advanced keying features includes digital clock display and logo insertion via the built in 14 image logo store with support for *JPEG or *.BMP image files.
Power Distribution Center
To avoid the mess and inconvenience of individual power supplies, Datavideo HS-2000 comes with an integrated power distribution centre, providing a simple, safe and secure solution for connecting all the integrated equipment from a single socket.
The Datavideo HS-2000 is designed for easy setup, breakdown and storage at any location, ready to be "live-in-seconds". Whether you're working in worship, education, conducting a live outside broadcast or shooting inside a production studio, the Datavideo HS-2000 enables seamless switching of full high definition video and audio, blending high quality digital content on the fly without requiring external genlock, thanks to built in TBC.
