PETREL MK 2 PAN AND TILT HEAD

The Petrel Mk 2 pan and tilt head is a light, compact unit designed to support the current generation of lightweight cameras.

The Petrel incorporates a patented “Pantographic” principle balance system providing the operator with a completely counterbalanced tilt range of ±40°. The unit itself, weighing a mere 7 kg (15.4 lb), is capable of supporting camera payloads of up to 45 kg (100 lb).

The head is supplied with two telescopic pan bars.

VECTOR 450 PAN AND TILT HEAD

The Vector 450 is designed specifically for EFP applications and has a payload capacity range from10 kg / 22 lbs through to 45 kg / 99.2 lbs. Offering Perfect Balance throughout its ±90° of tilt, the head enables the capture of footage from immediately below the operator's position to as far out as the lens allows: making it ideal for outdoor filming.
The compact design of the Vector 450 head maintains the functionality associated with Vinten's renowned Vector heads, including infinitely adjustable counterbalance, smooth TF drag, a retractable adjuster for controlled fore and aft camera adjustment and convenient rear control brakes.
The Vector 450 includes a retractable integral carry handle for easy repositioning and a tilt deadlock for safe set-up, breakdown and parking. Backlit drag controls and an illuminated levelling bubble enable easy set-up in lowlight conditions.
The flat base model of the head also includes an integral Quickfix groove for fast and secure attachment. These features combined with the EFP Quickfit wedge adaptor make the Vector 450 the perfect choice for busy operators working in numerous locations.

VECTOR 70 PAN AND TILT HEAD (Grey)

The Vector 70 is a highly successful pan and tilt head using an entirely new, patented counterbalance mechanism. This is easily adjustable, with no time-consuming cam changes, to provide up to ±60° perfectly balanced tilt range for camera, lens and teleprompter combinations of up to 70 kg (154 lb).

The Vinten LF fluid drag system give the Vector 70 smooth, adjustable control over movement, plus a 'whip pan' capability.

The Vector 70 is supplied with one telescopic pan bar and a wedge adapter which will accept a standard camera wedge.

VECTOR 700 PAN AND TILT HEAD

The Vector 700, with its Thin Film (TF) drag system, provides the camera user with a number of unique benefits.

The TF drag system is a calibrated 'non-contacting' system ensuring constant drag and consistent performance over an extended temperature range from -40°C to +60°C.

Using the patented Vector counterbalance mechanism, this head is easily adjustable, with no time-consuming cam changes, to provide up to ±60° perfectly balanced tilt range for camera, lens and teleprompter combinations of up to 70 kg (154 lb).

The Vector 700 is supplied with one telescopic pan bar and a wedge adaptor which will accept a standard camera wedge.

The Vector 700 Pan and Tilt Head is available in grey or black.

VECTOR 900 PAN AND HEAD

The Vector range of heads from Vinten has been synonymous with both studio and OB production world-wide for nearly a decade. The Vector 900 and 450 are designed for the new millennium and offer even more performance enhancements in one smaller package.

The Vector 900 comes complete with a standard four bolt base, single telescopic pan bar and wedge adapter. It offers an increased capacity of up to 90kg and at this payload, provides ±60° of perfectly balanced tilt, allowing the safe control of today’s long OB lenses. By combining the characteristics of the TF drag control with infinite perfect balance adjustment, the effort needed to control the effect of a heavy, moving camera payload remains constant and predictable, eliminating a major distraction.
