Video Snapshot
Video Snapshot makes creating movies to share easy. Every time the
Record button is pressed, a short 4 second clip is captured. Simply
add clips to a playlist, select a soundtrack, and your movie is
instantly ready for playback on a TV no need for editing on a PC.
Upload music to memory card with the Music Transfer Utility.
Instant shooting
With Quick Start and Pre REC youre always ready. From Standby,
opening the LCD screen powers up the camcorder in around a second.
Pre REC continuously stores 3 seconds of footage while the camcorder
is on: when you press Record, you also capture the preceding 3
seconds.
Creative options
The LEGRIA HF200 supports the expanded colour space of x.v.Color.
When movies are played back on a compatible HD TV, colours look
better than ever. Choose 25p Cinema Mode to make movies that have
the traditional look of film, or for improved low-light shooting.
Still shooting
Shoot high resolution 3.3MP photos. Or, in Dual Shot mode, capture
2MP stills at any time during video recording without changing modes
controls are set to automatic to make it easy. Photo Burst grabs
25 stills from a second of recorded footage.
Better audio
A microphone input lets you attach an external microphone to
record better audio monitor levels using the headphone jack.
Manual audio controls offer even greater precision.
Software
With supplied PIXELATM software edit and share your HD movies.
With Canons DW-100 DVD Burner (available separately), easily burn a
DVD.
