The AVCHD format employs the new MPEG4 AVC/H.264 codec to
deliver approximately twice the compression of the HDV format
which employs MPEG2. AG-HMC150 series support higher bitrate
recording mode,PH mode,which realizes higher quality of video
images for professionals.
*1. AVCHD-compatible software is required. The hardware
requirements recommended for the software must also be
satisfied.
*2. Recording in PH mode requires an SD/SDHC memory card of
Speed Class 4 or higher.
