Enjoy spacious screen real estate for more windows and palettes. The 17-inch PowerBook features a display resolution of 1680 by 1050 — as many pixels as the 20-inch Apple Cinema Display. And the 15-inch PowerBook offers a an expansive workspace at 1440 by 960.

The Legendary SuperDrive
Standard on all PowerBooks, a slot-loading 8x SuperDrive (DVD±RW/CD-RW) burns both CDs and DVDs — great for backups, mix CDs and movies. The SuperDrives in the 15-inch and 17-inch models also can burn double-layer DVD+R discs for up to 8.5GB of content.

Extra-long battery
Be productive for up to 5.5 hours at a time with your 15-inch or 17-inch PowerBook, thanks to its long-lasting battery. The 12-inch PowerBook delivers an impressive 5 hours of battery life

The 15-inch and 17-inch PowerBooks come with 128MB of graphics memory and dual-link DVI to support the massive 30-inch Apple Cinema HD Display. With a mini-DVI to DVI adapter, even the 12-inch PowerBook with 64MB of dedicated graphics memory connects to the 20-inch or 23-inch Cinema Display.

Built-in wireless
Every configuration of the PowerBook G4 offers two built-in wireless technologies: AirPort Extreme for 802.11g-compatible networking and Bluetooth 2.0+EDR for 3-Mbps connections to peripherals such as cell phones and PDAs.
