Improving the
performance of the highly regarded 1201
series was no easy task for Azden engineers.
This involved a completely new circuit
design, for the crystal-controlled PLL
synthesized 2000 Series. The new design has
dramatically improved audio quality, with
lower noise levels, increased dynamic range
and transient response. A new system IC has
improved system stability and at the same
time lowered power consumption. Regardless
of climate conditions the new IC design
offers consistent system performance for the
most demanding ENG/EFP broadcast
applications. The 2000 Series is available
in several receiver configurations for
compatibility with most broadcast cameras.
The matching 2000BT body-pack and 2000XT
transmitters are housed in a durable
die-cast case
