Phantom Power Checker
The DPA PPC4000 is designed
to test if you have enough phantom power to drive your
condenser microphones without changes in their
specifications.
The DPA PPC4000 tests both voltage and current
simultaneously, not just voltage. The test current is
3.5 mA through pin 2 and 3.
The functions are as follows:
OK: green light
Fail: red light for failure on pin 2; yellow light for
failure on pin 3; red and yellow light (flashing) for
failure on pin 2 and 3
Tip: Use your PPC4000 as a cable tester on e.g. your
stage box. First test your console or another phantom
power supply, then test your stage box and cables. |
