1/3-type CCD with SuperExwave technology
This camera has an advanced 1/3-type CCD imager with SuperExwave technology to achieve superb picture quality. This highly sensitive imager provides a minimum illumination of 0.6 lx in colour and 0.06 lx in monochrome at F1.3.
Sony-patented Ball-Joint Lens Mount mechanism
This mechanism is incorporated into the vari-focal lens, enabling the lens to be rotated freely in any direction. Unlike conventional cameras, a simple single action is all that's required to adjust the pan and tilt angle. It provides quick and easy adjustment of the cameras viewing angle during installation.
Day/Night function for 24/7 operation
This enables the camera to switch from day to night mode (colour/monochrome), replacing the infrared cut filter with a clear filter. It switches modes using an external sensor or automatically in response to light conditions. For zero lx operation, it can simultaneously switch to night mode and trigger near-IR illuminators.
High horizontal resolution
The high-quality CCD imager, combined with this cameras state-of-the-art DSP technology, produces a high horizontal resolution of 540 TV lines for amazingly clear and detailed images.
Flexible and easy installation
This camera is easily wall-mounted or ceiling mounted (a supplied mounting bracket is required). Camera focus and viewing angle can be easily and accurately adjusted using the secondary video output (the RCA phono jack, located at the rear of the camera along with a BNC video output).
Ruggedised, vandal-resistant design
This vandal-resistant camera is housed in a heavy-duty aluminium die cast enclosure with an impact-resistant polycarbonate dome. It complies with the IP66 ingress protection standard and has a special inner conduit for the camera cables. An optional YT-HU75 Heater Unit option is for cold weather outdoor applications.
Backlight Compensation (BLC)

Auto Tracing White Balance (ATW)/ATW Pro
ATW (2,000 K - 10,000 K colour temperature compensation) adjusts the white balance in changing light conditions. In natural light, incandescent lamps or fluorescent light sources, ATW Pro (2,500 K - 6,000 K compensation) reproduces colour images closer to what we see with our eyes.
