Two different print packs may be used with the UP-21MD.
The UPC-21S colour print pack contains 3 rolls of ink ribbon and S-format print media (100mm x 90mm) for 240 prints.
The UPC-21L colour print pack contains 4 rolls of ink ribbon and print media in L format (144mm x 100mm) for 200 prints.
The choice between large-format L and small-format S allows for more flexibility and gives two cost options.
Short print times in A6 format.
Prints can be produced in 17 seconds* with the durable, recently developed A6 format print media. *in high-speed mode with the UPC-21S colour print pack.
Compact dimensions.
The dimensions of the UP-21MD are 212mm (W) x 125mm (H) x 395mm (D). It weighs 6.5kg. Thanks to the compact 212mm width, it requires minimal space alongside other equipment.
Four frame memories*. (* 8 frame memories available soon)
The UP-21MD is equipped with four integrated frame memories, so that up to four complete colour images can be saved simultaneously at full resolution. While one frame is being printed from one memory, other frames can be saved in the other memories. Multiple images, 2 or 4 split, can be saved in the frame memories and can be printed out as a single print.
Front control panel.
The UP-21MD is designed to be controlled from the front. Menu settings can be easily selected using the buttons at the front of the device.
Versatile analog/video inputs and outputs.
The UP-21MD accepts analogue RGB, S-video (Y/C) and composite video signals.
RS-232C Connector.
An RS-232C connector enables the printer to be controlled from external devices such as a computer.
