Anton/Bauer has designed
the QR-RH Handle strategically outfitted with the
Anton/Bauer Gold Mount bracket to provide multiple
mounting positions and the ability to mount the hard
drive in various locations and positions. It provides
the opportunity to attach various accessories to the
camera's handle via 1/4-20 and 3/8-16 tapped holes. The
QR-RH Handle's tape hook provides a tape measure
attachment for camera focus and the extender allows the
matte box on the lens to conveniently remain on the
camera throughout setup, therefore saving valuable set
up time. Rotating at 90, 180 or 360 degrees, the QR-RH
Handle provides ease and flexibility.
The second mount, which is designed to hold a hard
drive, also acts as a live battery mount. So a second
battery can be placed on it, and the PowerTap connector
can be used to power additional accessories. In
addition, a Male-to-Male PowerTap cable is provided,
thus allowing you to "hot swap" batteries from the rear
of the camera, thus avoiding down time or the dreaded 75
second boot up time for the camera. Power to the camera
is provided via a 6p LEMO connector which is hard-wired
to the Anton/Bauer Gold Mount on the rear of the handle.
