By re-evaluating the fundamentals of
traditional tripod design, the new Fibertec tripod provides the
professional with an even more stable working platform, suitable for any
application. Fibertec is up to three times more rigid than its nearest
competitor; an ideal characteristic when using high levels of drag and
long lenses, particularly in windy outdoor conditions.
The strength of Fibertec comes from the unique channel leg sections of carbon/glass composite. To improve set-up and positioning time, lever action leg clamps are positioned adjacent to each other at the top of their respective stages. To further increase durability and reliability, all exposed edges are reinforced and moulded joints have eliminated the need for adhesives. The unique design of the Fibertec's lever-operated clamping system is a significant contributory factor in the overall performance of the tripod. With long term reliability, ease of operation and minimal maintenance in mind, our designers have introduced a system that utilises the entire length of the leg overlap. So the more the legs are nested, the bigger the clamping area, almost doubling the maximum carrying capacity of a traditional Vinten 100mm tripod to an impressive 45kg

With unrivalled height range capability,
these lightweight, compact tripods are quick and easy to set up and offer
maximum stability and torsional stiffness. They are available with 'Pozi-Loc' clamps, or as the new 'Fibertec' tripod. The Pozi-Loc cam-operated clamping system requires low effort with a 90° turn from on to off, providing the user with a positive indication that the tripod is securely locked. The profile of the knob ensures that camera cables cannot snag. The 'Baby Legs' tripod is a low-level version, with a minimum height of 28 cm (11 in.) which makes even lower shots possible.

HDT-1 Single Stage 3902-3 HDT-2 Two Stage The HDT single and two-stage tripods are the new heavy-duty additions to the renowned Vinten range of camera support. Offering the most extensive height range available from heavy duty tripods on the market, the HDT has been totally re-designed, to offer increased torsional rigidity and robustness – ideal for large camera and lens combinations in any studio or OB application. The new pinned and glued telescopic leg design provides a wide range of height adjustment whilst offering superior strength and reliability. Set up has been made even simpler with the addition of engraved leg markings for rapid, even deployment and an integral level bubble allows for fine level adjustment. The new clamping system provides progressive feel to a positive stop which indicates when the leg is locked, ensuring simple and confident clamping. Whatever the terrain, the HDT’s three-position swivel foot ensures a stable base. Choose from an increased length spike for soft surfaces, self-levelling pad for harder surfaces or a socket to fit all Vinten skids and floor spreaders. For more uneven surfaces, the newly designed mid-level spreader ensures the HDT is a convenient and stable option. The single piece, fixed length design offers exceptional strength and robustness, whilst simple to use and remove when necessary. With an integral carry handle providing comfortable and easy repositioning, this system is ideal for any terrain. Combined with the Vector range, these systems provide maximum control and flexibility wherever the next location may be.
