Handycam DCR-SR80E features an amazing 60GB built-in Hard Disk Drive –
perfect for holiday movie-making. All video’s captured in vibrant shades
and colours via a powerful 1 Mega Pixel CCD, with a high-quality Carl
Zeiss Vario-Tessar Lens that provides excellent contrast and superb
imaging across the entire field of view. Variable Bit Rate (VBR)
prevents noise from appearing during scenes with fast movement, and the
Mega Pixel Engine offers high resolution with an even further reduction
in noise levels.
Video is well protected while travelling by an integrated 3G Sensor that
detects any sudden drops or jolts, automatically safeguarding the HDD
from memory damage and data loss. View footage easily on the 2.7” Wide
Hybrid LCD Display in full 16:9 format, even under bright sunlight, with
Video Index and Date Index functions allowing easy access to scenes. The
convenient One Touch DVD Burn function lets you copy video to DVD, while
the supplied Handycam Station connects via AV or USB to your PC, printer
or TV. Transfer files automatically using the Easy PC Back-Up function
and bundled ImageMixer software
