At the heart of ADVC500 is the innovative Canopus DV codec chip,
providing the industry's highest picture quality preservation
during analog-to-DV conversion and locked audio support for perfect
audio and video synchronization at all times.
ADVC500 is quickly configurable. Front panel controls include a
mode switch, input line select, input audio select, audio sampling
rate select, analog input level adjustment dials and peak audio
meters.
ADVC500 boasts fully programmable control software for adjusting
analog input settings:
- Brightness
- Contrast
- Saturation
- Hue
- Sharpness
ADVC500 Picture Controller
software for Mac OS can be downloaded from this Web site (requires
Canopus User Account log-in).
ADVC500 can operate as a stand-alone device not requiring a
computer, while keeping any preprogrammed settings.
Other converters can lose audio/video sync when converting longer
segments of video. ADVC500 supports locked audio when converting
from analog to digital, assuring perfect audio and video
synchronization.
The broadest video equipment and editing software compatibility
ensures ADVC500 provides a long product life and a high return on
investment.
