Overview:
Combine with XDCU-50 for an affordable studio camera solution
The PMW-EX3 combines high quality HD acquisition, high-speed Solid State
recording and the advanced XDCAM EX workflow in a semi shoulder-mount
camera. The arrival of Sony's camera extension system means that the
performance and cost-efficiency of this Full HD camcorder is available in a
studio environment as well.
The XDCA-53 attaches to the PMW-EX3 using its supplied bracket and the
VCT-SP2BP optional shoulder support. The adaptor comes with a power supply
cable, and a remote control cable. Two BNC cables are required for
connection between PMW-EX3 and XDCA-53.The camera and return signal can be
carried over a maximum of 100 meters without any degradation.
A quick and simple way to adapt PMW series camcorders for studio operation,
with no performance compromises the HD Camera Extension system is an
innovative option for any studio environment.
