The PMW-350 and PMW-320 HD camcorders
have already gained a reputation for outstanding picture quality, ergonomics
and workflow efficiency. With the introduction of Sony's camera extension
system, the performance and cost-efficiency of these Full HD camcorders is
available in a studio environment as well.
The XDCA-55 docks easily with the PMW-350 and PMW-320 via a single 50-pin
connector. This simple mechanism means that no other connections to the
camcorders are needed.
Using only a pair of BNC cables between the XDCA-55 and the XDCU-50 camera
extension unit, the digital video from the camera and the return signal can
be carried over a maximum of 100 meters without any degradation.
A quick and simple way to adapt PMW series camcorders for studio operation,
with no performance compromises. The perfect way to add value to your
camcorder investment.
