OverView
The AJ-HRW10 P2 Rapid Writer is a simple, easy-to-use workflow solution for backing up P2 content. With slots for two removable 3.5-inch hard disk drives (HDDs) and a built-in AJ-PCD35 five-slot P2 memory drive, the HRW10 automatically transfers data from up to five P2 cards to RAID-1 mirrored or JBOD-configured disk drives. Whether used in production or for live events, this flexible workflow tool puts the critical back-up function well within the grasp of even the least technical members of a production team.

The Rapid Writer features a 5-inch color LCD touch screen, a G-bit Ethernet port, an internal speaker and a headphone jack. The color touch screen displays clips in thumbnails and allows you to playback, pause, forward or rewind content directly from P2 cards or the disk drives, providing assurance that the content was copied. Removable hard disk drives, disk cradle and rack enclosures, power supply and batteries are sold separately.

The Rapid Writer is versatile in that it allows you to take advantage of the market's wide offering of quality disk drives and enclosures. The ability to use common disk drives provides flexibility in the field as well as when you return to the post facility. Many new disk drive enclosures, including the one provided with the Rapid Writer package (HRW10-PAC1), offer network connectivity and separate power. This benefits you in that the drive, once removed from the Rapid Writer, can be connected directly to a standard computer without the need for a special disk enclosure.

Notes:
1. Disk drives should at minimum meet or exceed the Internal SATA 1.5Gb/Sec.
2. For better performance, the use of SATA 3.0 Gb/Sec capable Enterprise Class hard drive disks with a RAM Cache buffer size of 16-32MB and a minimum 7200-RPM is recommended.
* Disk drives are not included with basic AJ-HRW10 Rapid Writer product. Disk drives are included in HRW10-PAC1 package.
