Its large S/N ratio and flat frequency response with a slight hf-boost ensure the natural reproduction of nearly every instrument or voice. Outstanding off-axis rejection of the cardioid capsule reduces the risk of feedback when used in sound reinforcement applications even with larger miking distance, which are no problem with CK 930's high sensitivity. Switchable 15dB pad, low-cut filter and an integrated DC/DC converter to prove microphone's specifications even with non-standard phantom powering make it a perfect miking solution. Mentioning TV news rooms or small spaced orchestra-digs just limits the impressive variety of applications for the CK 930.
